need help anybody....

    hey i am having problem with my burning.my nero acting weird.it happen to me before but i kinda fix it i change my disc type and i was able to burn some movies but lately i couldnt anymore error keeps coming up..need help..can someone tell me whats the problem or how do i fix it pls.....

    Hello again aditek

    I see you're still having problems with the Matshita drive.

    Not much wrong in the log.

    I'd suggest getting 8x media only for this drive. I have the same one and getting it to burn 16x media is pretty hit or miss - usually it's miss :)
    It does well with the 8x though. Try and find some 8x made in Japan Sony, Fuji or Maxell or Verbatim.

    i have bought sony 8x but it wont work.if i were to buy a external burner will it be possible to work

    This drive is a quite picky imho so that will more than likely do the trick.
    That's what I did for when I want to use my laptop to burn a dvd. Picked up an external LiteOn.

    LiteOn's are my fav's along with Pioneer.
    Here's a nice guide from ripper - link.
    The bit on sata/ide won't apply to an external drive.

    hey binkie sorry didnt response rite away.but yeah i purchased a ez dub liteon dvd burner.and i want to ask you something maybe you can help me.ok i am using dvd shrink to shrink my movies and i want to know how can i use my external hard drive to shrink the movies using dvd shrink.because everytime i changed the setting which drive to use it failed to do the process.is there anyway i could do that?

    You want to save the movie Shrink is encoding to the external hard drive?
    When you click backup under 'select folder for temporary files' pick external hard drive and whatever folder you want to save it to.

    Hope I got your question right.
