ok how do i do that reformat the hd in the puter for the x box.?

 

you have to put that hdd on xbox the you the AID to format it.

 

aim is that im downloading? So your saying i have to take the hd out of my puter and put it in my xobx. reformat it with aim? If i do that do i have to re flash my chip and reload the bios? With about the dashborad?

 

you have x2 5032 bios on modchip. This is good. Format and install dashboard by using AID.

 

no i dont have the bios on the mod chip. it got the stander one on it but i updated it. Can u give me the site where i can get AID ?

 

The AID is the one 735MB you are downloading right now.

 

for bios follow the link on my sig. then look for download xbox files. you will find the x2 bios there.

this is the dashboard i have having a bit of troble with it booting a dvd-r xbox game

i have a dashboard installed but.... some reason the drive reads orignal xbox games but no dvd r or dvd rw but i checking it again could of been my burning not sure ok cheers big ear

And can take that dashboard i installed and re-install another one if so how do i go about it

for xbox iso or burn or backup, you have to search around.

With the AID disk you can format, install dashboard on any modchip xbox. As long the xbox boot that disk.

You can use it on softmod xbox too. But be careful. YOU gotto know what you are doing. if you screw up, softmod xbox is gone.

 

if u format hdd what will go and wot will stay

 

backup everything to pc. Then format. if you want something back to xbox, then copy the backup back.
