Im having troubles finding a good software to burn avi, mpeg ectt.. movie files to Data Dvd for xbox media center, Im able to use Dvd Decrypter for games and it works fine, but my old nero program wont burn a data dvd, I get errors, and I tried a few free programs and i get errors. On one of those programs i get a error that says error closing disk(Free easy cd/dvd burner v2.0). So why does Dvd decryptor work but the others dont work for movie files that are about 700mb each, with about 6 on a dvd project. Im using sony dvd-r media. Ive made 5 coasters, can you help? I was able to successfully burn one data dvd, but the next 2 had errors.
i think windows can backup files to disc, right click on the files (highlight all files neeeded to go in 1 go) look at menu (SEND TO) then (DVD Drive) let windows burn data to dvd. could be your choice of dvd media, your drive may need a firmware update? long shot.
