i need help to make an xvid file smaller because i am trying too burn it on a dvd+r and i am using nero 7 ... it will burn the file onto the disk then at the end it will say not enough space and the disk became a waste it is 4.7 gb but the file i want to burn is only 724 mb so is there a program that will let me burn the file or a program to make the file smaller please help me .. thank you for your time
I imagine you are trying to convert the AVI to a playable DVD. If that's the case you have to lower the video bitrate till it fits, or choose a lower quality preset in Nero. It's about the running time when converting, not the original size of your AVI. Look for one of the many Nero Vision guides on these forums.
