Hi, i'm trying to burn a iso but i keep failing. First up, i tried burning the iso as it is. Failure. I figured it must not've been a proper iso. Than, I tried extracting it and burning that directly. ..No luck. I Packed it up again as an xiso. Burned that, no luck. After that i tried to patch it with xiso, XBE Devkit -> XBE Retail. burned the extracted files as a datadisc, no luck. Packed it up, burned, no luck. Well, i'm out of suggestions.. Anyone know what to do? I'm using Nero 8.0 and xiso 0.7.3 I Have successfully burned iso's in the past (It's been 2 years though), So it should work, unless it's the rip is bad. Any help would be appreciated, as you can see, i'm not very lucky..
I Tried burning using multiple softwares and tutorials. I Think the burn is proper. Even though the Xbox says it can't read the dvd, It still generates a save file! ( I Got bored and checked my HD and saw the game title but with no saves.) I Have a PAL X-Box and the game i'm trying to burn is NTSC. There will never be a PAL version of the game (Midway stated so, Mortal Kombat Armageddon). So than i tried hex editing the Region code but the xbox than just freezes at the big green X-screen. Any help would be appreciated!
Your dashboard can be set in its setting to play other regions without issue! As long as you have your Xbox modded, game regions shouldn't be an issue!
I Finally managed to change the NTSC-PAL settings of my xbox after installing a dashboard via AID (Love it!) but now the game doesn't load. It just shows me the very first logo (No disclaimer and crap yet) and just stops doing anything. Anyone got an idea of what it could be? The game is Mortal Kombat: Armageddon
Yep, like I explained, it's a setting in your dash, not just changing the region with Enigma! Which dash do you run? In the settings for the dash, there will be an option to change the region. Either set it to 'Auto' or 'NTSC N.America'. Feel free to try them all! I find UnleashX is the best for auto detecting...
I'm using EvoX from the latest AID installer. I just tried changing it the dashboard setting itself to NTSC - North America and Auto, neither of them worked. The game I Have is American. Thank you for your help so far though!
Dunno about EvoX, i use UnleashX myself. However, i found that with MK Armageddon i had to change the TV refresh rate from 50 to 60 (or vice versa, can't remember which way round). So have a look around your display settings in EvoX and see if it has the option to change the display rate as well as the region. Hope this helps and good luck.
Hey I Just installed UnleashX. Setted everything i could find to NTSC. And I Tried to find that refresh rate but all i could find was Faster Refresh Rate ---- Yes/No Could you be more precise as to where you exactly found it please? Thanks for all the help so far, really appreciate it guys!
Sorry for late reply, just checked my settings and one i was thinking of is "enable pal-60". this is the one you have to set to yes for mk armageddon to work (as well as the NTSC setting). Gotta have your xbox plugged in via the scart socket though (rather than through the composites that are on the front of most TV's).
