a few points before i answer
    1. remove your email as it is against forum rules to post it and you could get banned
    2. no one can link you to a place to download games, that is also against the rules

you do not need any special firmware or update to do what you want. What you need is basic networking skills. You need to set up a home network on your PC using the network setup wizard in windows. Then you also need to go into the properties of your hard drive (right click on it under my computer, click properties, go to sharing tab and eneable sharing of the drive) If you do not do this the Xbox will not be able to see anything on it. You can also just share certain folders instead of the whole hard drive if you like but then you have to remember that is what you want to play is not in a shared folder, the XBMC will not see it. I actually forget the option you use within XBMC to access the home network you set up because i do not use it that often and when i do it is all instinct by now.

that is decent guide but i think it is just way too long, plus it only has the setup for a static IP, which is not the case with all people. Mine is all set up DHCP so it assigns all the network information on it's own.

yea its easier to chat with someone live because they can just talk instead of typing see if one of you friends can help you if not then look for an easier tutorial then i posted. im sure there one out there.

But i will be glad to try.

I have MSN myself. If no one gets back to you about fixing it, send me a PM and remind me, also give me the email address in the PM to look you up on MSN. I will be around Wednesday night after 5PM EST
