I try to format 2GB Kingston microDS, I got a message "The disk is write protected". I also try to copy and paste two folders and two files of R4 newest firmware v1.14 into microDS, it had the same message. Now I stucked at beginning step. You please help me out. Thanks.

Because I locked microSD adapter, that why it shows message "The disk is write protected". I unlocked it now I can copy and paste to microSD.
very simple thing to do it had me scratching my head when i did it once . on the adapter you have a little sliding button which if you slide down locks the memory card as write protected . just slide it back up and its then unprotected as duykhang says .
