So i used mac the ripper to rip a home movie dvd to a workable dvd folder, but the problem is i need to be able to add subtitles. The only way i know how to do this is by using .avi files, which is cool because i might be able to upload this to youtube also. I also have a lot of DVDs that happen to be non-english that have no subtitles and i hope to do the same trick with the same process. Is there any way of being able to convert .dvd files to .avi and back with subtitles selectable?
Hello NinjaDP: MovieGate will allow you to add subtitles to a DVD's VIDEO_TS folder. Then, you can use VisualHub, among other applications, to convert to .AVI Cheers
