vista alone would take a gig of RAM from my system! I went back to xp because the computer became so unstable it would no longer turn off. In xp i use 1GB MAX usually around 360MB ( i have 2Gs)

if you want some thing better then a future shop computer then you should look into a custom computer, you can get a great one for $1000. i think many of us here build them (including me, and i think sam and ddp?? do as well.)

This is what I will be building for my self soon (I hope) http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/545649

i have had tone of problems with hp laptop, but I have never had a desktop from them (all of mine have been custom). It looks like gatway has the best system for gaming right now.

Mabey you should try and build a computer?

FaugYou, a mouse manages to AROUSE you? WOW. ANyway I've heard Gateway support is crap. I've had Compaqs ans HPs and they did provide very good support if stuff broke down. They would send me parts ahead of time, which means AFTER I got the new part I would have to send the old one back in.

they did the same for me, with a battery and cd drive.

One of the problems i had with my cd drive was because of the crap ware they pre-install.

I think the point we're trying to make here is that any off the shelf PC you can buy is pretty shoddy compared to something you can build, or at least spec yourself. Find a custom PC retailer if you want a PC that's a little bit better than the usual.

and if you build it yourself you will save a lot! At the minimum $100 but usually more, alot more with high end computers.

here is a $2000 dollar future shop computer:

    http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0665000FS10089892&catid=

you could make it for 300-600 less

Currently i have a gift card (future shop gift card) which a close friend of mine gave to me worth 200$ so i think that it would be better to buy it from future shop. Out of those four computers that I choose, which one would be the best to buy? (the $2000 is way too expensive)

Well, you say that, you could probably save even more than that buy speccing it up for yourself.
We've already been over which one's the best.

In terms of all aspects (speed, gaming, quality, ease of use) which computer would be the best? I am looking for one that is fast and also good for gaming but can multitask and is fairly easy to use as well as set up.

you can buy your graphics card (mabey hard drive) at future shop, just see if they do price matches then you can show them a price from newegg or Canada computers. Then you still get to use your $200 gift card.

That is what I would do.
