Hi I need a little help with something.

I dl some music from MM and the files are .wma instead of mp3s. I burned it to disk usinf Nero 6 and it did not work in eithe rof my cd players.

I was wondering how i can burn these so it will work in my cd players.
I was thinking i might need to convert them from .wma to mp3. I do not see the point in dl any music if you can not play it on the devices you want to listen. this was my first time and i am pretty sure it will be my last.

Ok here are my pc stat:
    windows xp
    2.8 gh pent 4
    1000 mb ram
    80 gb hd
    burner sony dru-530a

I would appreciate any help.. thanks guys.

Hi Greta I'm a Newbie at this stuff but I've burned a lot of music on Nero. Did you make sure you ticked on Audio CD before you ticked on new compilation? You definitly don't want to convert from wma to mp3, they are both lossy formats & you would get very bad quality in the end. Nero should burn wma files with ease!! Good Luck

    This might be needed:

What is MM? Some music store?
If so there probably is DRM -implemented in the files so you most likely will be able to burn them with WMP.

    Musicmatch :)

Also check to see your player supports WMA :) (might also be a DRM issue)
