@tsquare43 - there's a post somewhere around here that had loads of info re the serial number on the side of the Verbatim tubs. I can't for the life of me remember the link for the post, nor can i find the official Verbatim page that lists a lot of the serial numbers. I guess 'serial number' is the wrong phrase here, that's why i can't find the post. If only i could remember the correct phrase...
doh!, product code was what i meant http://www.verbatim.com.au/products/dvd_r.cfm - for instance some of all of the product codes are 5digit numbers beginning with 9 also try here - http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/185388 However i still can't find the afterdawn post i wanted. Never mind, you should be cool with the above stuff..

you know me, what i lack in off the top of head quickfire info, i make up with extensive searching skills. It's just my indexing isn't always as quick so i have to hunt around a bit more
