I hooked up my Sansa MP3 player to my new Dell XPS laptop for the first time tonight to sync some more songs onto it. I used Windows Media Player 7.0 (I think is the version, if that is the newest one) on my old desktop with no problems to sync songs over. Like I did before, I added songs to the Sync List on the side panel and hit "Start Sync". All of a sudden, it started going down the list of ALL my songs in my ENTIRE LIBRARY and syncing them ALL onto my MP3 player!!! I quick stopped it and deleted the ones that got on there back off. I tried again, thinking I may have accidentally pressed something to cause it and was very careful. Same thing. It started syncing ALL the songs in WMP and not just the songs I had selectd into the sync list. So what is going on?
You sure your on version 7, not 11 or 10? Make sure of the version and I may be able to help you out.
