Need help with Nero (making a dvd)

sounds very similar to my prob, i have never been able to burn to dvd though.

mine ejects before it is done and gives me an error message too, but it never gives me the option or save my log or anything.

when i have probs burning a dvd, it will give me that option, but with dvd, i never can save the log.

ihave no clue what is wrong. i gave up a long time ago.

i need alot of help figuring it out though!

 

Its frustrating, isn't it? Have so many new shows but unable to burn them into a DVD/VCD. However, I do not have any problems with audio CDs. Dun know if its because I downloaded a firmware. Read in one of the response in your thread that a wrong firmware can "burn" the device! Hope that doesn't happen, I just bought mine less than a year..

 

what does that mean????

the wrong firmware can tear up my burner/?? or my computer?

would it cause my dvd not to work, but no probs with cd burning?

i can burn cd, just not dvd.

how would i get this problem fixed? i need someone who knows what they are doing, to just come over and show me how to doit and fix the problem.

 

First thing, edit out your serial number before someone pirates it.

This is a horrible version of Nero, its buggy. Uninstall, run this clean tool http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/Nero7_CleanTool.html

and install this version http://www.filehippo.com click on Nero 7.2.0.3 and then select 7.0.8.2 for a bug free version

Doesnt need to be on.

Try a different disc, I recommend Verbatim or Sony (made in japan)

@Idalim73, it's not a good practice to hijack threads, it is recommended you start one OF YOUR OWN.

 

oh, i don't mind, other that it confused me. but i have pretty much given up on the dvd burning. i can't figure it out. thanks for all of your help though. i just need someone to come and do it for me and show me how and fix whatever is wrong with it.

Hi, sorry for the confusion. Didn't mean to "hijack" anyone's thread. Was new to this forum and didn't know how to put my own in. I have sinced started one of my own.

My apologies again.

BTW, MB2twenty...dun give up so fast. Just hang in there, I'm sure someone out there can help us. If I do get anything that works in my thread, will share it with you.

for some reason, it doesn't give me the option to save a log.

when i have had problems with burning a cd, it pops up and gives me the option to save the log, but it doesnt when i try to burn to dvd.

can you tell me how to do this? (in very simple terms please)
