need help with printable dvds

    hi,

    i have a casio cw-75 disc printer and it will only print on the smooth glossy dvds, i dont know what dvds to buy, i did use ridisc xtreme but it looks like printing suface has changed and they are not glossy and i cant print on them.

    i need glossy dvd-r printable discs that are good to backup dvds

    can anyone help me?

    Here is a Canadian site:http://www.blankmedia.ca/ Sounds like something like a Taiyo Yuden Silver Printable is what you want. Gives kind of a 3D effect.

    You'll want something like Taiyo Yuden Silver Lacquer media. I get mine at http://www.rima.com

    my cd printer is inkjet will the Taiyo Yuden Silver Lacquer be ok?

    From what I see, that Casio CW-75 is a thermal transfer printer. It uses colored ribbons. The Taiyo Yuden media will work just fine.

    Are not silver lacguer and silver printable separate types of disks and silver lacquer isn't printable? My bad. I just saw thermally printable.

    is there and other good make of themal dvd-r discs, i cant find any Taiyo Yuden thermal dvds in the u.k, i found 1 but is £50!!

    I don't live in the UK, so I can't tell you the best place to go, but I did find this:
