Need Help With RAM

    I meant buy or replace, but if it supports 3200, you shouldn't have to unless your RAM is faulty. I very much doubt both sticks are.

    I wouldn't change the timings, but the speed is controlled via the 'bus speed' setting in your BIOS.

    ok i have just stummbeled on to my misc. settings and i have found
    "dram clock at next boot is"

    then you have these options

    by spd
    sync clk
    100mhz
    133mhz
    166mhz
    200mhz

    should i change anything?

    Try 166mhz as your DRAM clock.

    ok i tryed it and it just freezed again

    i tryed it and after about 5 seconds little white lines started to appear i did not think that was good so i turned my pc off.


    what should i try next

    should i be conserned if i cant see anything when i plug my vga in to the on board gpu slot with any ram?

    If you have a dedicated GPU and you attach your monitor to the onboard video you won't see anything, it'll be disabled.
