need help with second hadr drive

    so i just bought this samsung 500gb sata hdd..and i connected it to my computer..when i started the computer..i dont see a extra disk drive when i go to my computer...am i doing something wrong???

    It could be that the BIOS settings to detect the SATA drives has not been set to Enabled. Or... your motherboard may require you to install SATA drivers IF it doesn't natively support them.

    if the bios sees the drive but is not shown in my computer then you haven't partitioned & formated the drive.
