Need help with the defrag files

    After defraging my hardrive some file werent able to defrag. I was wondering how i could fix this problem.

    You mean the green, unmovable files? Those can't be defragmented because they are being used by the system while it's running. You can download a program like Diskeeper Pro to do an offline defrag, which means those files are defraged when you boot, before Windows startup.

    could it also be bad sectors?(the red parts that wont move)

    not all files will be defragmented on one defrag.

    i suggest using Diskeeper as rcrockett suggested

    you can just set it to defrag at a sertain time and you can let it defrag every night. I do. At first not all files will be defragmented, but after 5 defrags, you should see little or no red spots
