Need HELP, xbox freezing up!! How bad is it???

    I need help in pinpointing the problem with my xbox. The system will freeze up while its loading a game level or during play. At this point I have NO idea where the problem is, can ANYONE help?????

    Maybe your xbox is dusty and your laser is dirty?

    Try using a cleaning cd and see if that works.

    If it is not under warranty then pop off the top do the same with the top cover of the disk drive.Gently clean the eye with a q-tip with a little rubbing alcohol on it. Test it by just replacing the disk drive top. To if that fixed the problem. I would run it with the top still off to see if it is working. If it did seam to work, and when you put the top back on
    the problem comes back, then you might have a cooling problem. So pop the top back off. Thats the only way one of my X-Boxs will work.
