Ok thanks for all the help, i finally got that ability to burn DVD now since i upgraded, but does Nero burn .AVI file? cause I try and burn this one file I have and its AVI, and I keep getting errors! do i need to convert it to mpeg first? and which mpeg1,2,3,4? thanks gwendolin
I burn AVI files all the time using only NeroVisionExpress3, all I do is as shown, drag files into NVE3 and click next to burn stage, NVE3 does the necessary converting. I have done MPEG files this way also.
pretty good pics gwen, i take it you used snagit .Awesome program isnt it.Nice post, good work..... @ wilcwi1: generally if you have an avi file you will need to convert it to mpeg2 compatible format before you attempt to burn it to dvd and then play it in a standalone player.There are various programs that can achieve this for you including nero or vso divx to dvd, cucusofts avi2mpeg and heaps of others.
@andmerr, yep , getting the hang of it now thanks, Snagit is a great prog, again thanks. Without causing any confusion all I do with AVI files is drag them into NVE3 and let it do any conversion. I dont convert before dragging into NVE3, just drag em in and watch NVE3 do its stuff, magical!!!
