also is the PCI slots right there when i open the back or do i have to do alot of un-screwing to get to it?
Why not take your PC to the hardware store & ask for a screwdriver to fit? Then when you open up your PC you will see what to do. [bold]This sort of thing is dead easy, just have a go for yourself first, then if you get stuck come back & ask. We won't spoonfeed you with the info, you have to at least try yourself...[/bold]
umm im not taking my PC to bestbuy , target then the hardware store...and no im not gunna come home after pick it up then bring it its too much of an inconvinece......and my mom would never go for it cause she thinks this PC's great even thought it sucks and she doesnt wanna move it
It isn't a big deal at all dude. Just unhook all the cables and take the pc to the hardware store. And find you torque set. Then go home open it up slab your card in download some drivers and then your good.

starchy, settle down as you don't want to piss me off!! the other members are trying to help you as that is what this site is about, teach & learn. my driver set is 1 driver handle with removeable driver bits of phillips, slot, robertson, torx & some others for about $30Can. just open the left side panel if individual sides come off & not whole cover & you'll see the motherboard with the slots.
