need help

i tried help a friend out with his euorovox max but i think i have something wrong i thought after reading on some forums its says that eurovox red and and black has a same firmware so i flashed it with that and when flashed it it said the this version is not fir this box and its reset the box and now the whole box is blank . i hope i have not anything wrong. any help would be nice. thank you in advance

Not sure whether you have done any damage but I do know they have seperate firmware.

Go there and scroll down a little, that will show you which firmware you need.

I would have throught to just reflash the box with the correct firmware would sort it but I aint a pro like Scouser, Hi-Teck, DesB and Panasonic

 

i dont know which software is the right one how do i find out because i just have the stb and all its says on that eorovox max and its black.

 

If you go to the link I posted there is a picture showing each type of box - which does it look like? Also, what colour box did it come in ?

 

i had a look at the link you posted and its either red or blue but i dont have the packaging which it came in so is there any other way i can find out.
