Hi, I have two problems needing sorting, hope someone can help. First of all, I've lost all my "free channels" so I'm wondering, is there an update I can download onto my box? Second, last time I updated my box it took me nearly three days (on and off) trying to get my menu back in order. Is there a way I can sort my menu and keep it after my box goes down again? Thanks in advance.

my channels went of so i type in new key code and got all my channels back

there is a ntl key code & telewest key code

    see

    if you run GTRom v4.00.exe

do not pick a bin file or it will be over written with new channel
    data

    click on channel data file
    and the upload
when it ask you for a file name that is what your channel list will
    be called

there is a program called starviewchanneleditor.exe
which will take that file and make it easy to editor and move you channels

i can not remember ware i got it from sorry

Thanks for that. I've changed the keys and I'm now doing a scan, hopefully I'll get my channels working again. I'm still not sure how to store my menu for future use though. It'll probably take me a couple of days to get the channels all in order. When they're in order should I connect the box to my PC then get it to remember the order they're in? Not sure about that bit.

    after you do a scan
change the channels into what order you want
save out the channels like i said
the channels order on the star view box will be save to a file on your pc

the next time you do a scan you can
    run GTRom v4.00.exe
    click on channel data file
pick the file you save your channels out has
    and the click on download

your channels should now be back on your starview in the order
they were before you did the scan

you may have some channels that are there twice
just check which one is still working and delete the other

All the channels are working again and I've got half my menu sorted so when that's done I'll give it a go. Thanks very much for your help. Sharron.
