Need a major dig out, and really dont think anyone will have the knowledge i am looking for!!!, in short the story is as follows moved house and brought the NTL Pace box card and all the cables. The pace box is model no: DC 22 1KN and i want to be able to set it up myself in the new place, as i have been waiting 12-13 weeks for NTL and they aint seem to be calling!!, i can hook it all up but it goes on to look for an engineers code, anyone out there who can help. i have been searching on line for 7 weeks trying to find help, please please please give me a dig out!!!!!!!!

Need help...I accidentally removed the first line on Nagra Dish 010100 keys...where it begins 00. I need to go back and put it in correctly. Can someone tell me if this is possible and if so how? Thanks.

 

If you have 149 bin installed and autoroll is on, it will fix your keys automatically.

Thank you for the feedback...I've never installed a BIN on my receiver before...Can you explain to me how I install the 149 BIN onto my Viewsat? (I don't have any cables...I'm assuming I need to get one??)

 

Bin 149 is not for Viewsats, thats a Coolsat bin number. Viewsat bins can be downloaded off this link below. Yes you need the proper cable for your model receiver. There will be setup guides on the same forum. Free to join.

You can download them and update your bins.

 

Ok... So I have figured out how to install the new keys on the reciever but it's needing new ones everyday... So from reading the past comments I'm seeing I need to install a new bin. Help! lol I have the cord that goes from the reciever to a usb port. I'm unable to have the comp and the reciever "find" eachother. Almost everything I've found to download is in some jacked up program I don't have. Again, Help! Can anyone please tell me what to do and how to do it? I have windows xp and thats about it. Nothing else has been added as far as programs go. Thanks!

 

I think Bill038 or Jerry have posted a site with instructions for USB uploading.
They have posted it several times recently if you was to look around.
I don't recall at the moment, but it was related to USB and laptops.

I looked quick but haven't come across anything yet.

People with laptop/USB would know as well.

I have the formal question regarding dish...if you have the dish 500 and you want to see something that is on the directtv...can you get it on the coolsat 6000 receiver using the dish 500....i know the logic answer is not possible but do u know any other way to do it....

At this time, there is no possible way to view DTV stations on any FTA receiver. Its just can't be done. Direct TV's signal hasn't had a public fix for about 4 or 5 years now.
