    Hi Breck,

I have been using this for about 2 years now. Just wondering, can I download any other bin file say from Coolsat?

I am in a fix. Thanks a lot in advance.

You can only use the bin that is for your receiver.

I think maybe you gave the incorrect name for your receiver. Is that possible? Or is it a clone of something?

The 4000 and 8100 bins are out today. I added the links to the toolbar for those using it.
I also added links to the Coolsat User Manual for each unit too.

sorry to bother this thread but i cant find anywhere to post this question.(new to this kind of chatting)

pansat 3500sd w/ dir tv dish

What is the best way to get channels??? (blind scan sat scan..etc...?) I have a good signal on various sat's s/a echo 7,3,4... and others.. My problem is that if i do a scan on one sat i get alot of the same channels as i did on the others creating a mess of similar channels. Someone told me to uncheck all sat's in antenna setup an then run a blind scan. that just does sat82 and also always seems to freeze at 31 or 45% can someone please advise on how to get the most channels the best way? thanks again

Also is there a download to rename channels to look like on real box? trying to figure out which channel im turning to is just nuts with all the crazy symbols and letters

If your using DISH, you want to scan 110W and/or 119W.

All these FTA threads are getting out of hand completely. We need to stick to the forum rules a little better. Lets try to stay on topic. This thread should be about key programs and key problems. If you don't have a question that fits a topic already listed, then start a new thread. For example we can't answer questions on all brands of receivers under the Coolsat 5000 thread. Thats how everything gets mixed up and people get confused. Try to stay on topic.

breck what i heard that there is no longer going to be a fix for 2500 pansat.i think mine is a clone of it..have you heard anything, what i was trying to say if most of the readers are on a different time zones.it's been quiet.i'm on the east. i had sent you a question a couple of threads ago wasn't meant to be in a bad way.in fact i thought it complimented you and the website.please respond thanks george..

There will be no more updated bins for Pansat 2500. The bins got too large and they would no longer fit on the receivers. The receivers didn't have enough memory to take the new bins.

Time to buy a newer receiver.
