Thanx for your link. I have Viewsat Extreme. Used your link to get latest a/r fix ...071031x. Loaded it but didn't correct a/r problem. Had to enter codes manually to get channels up. Am I correct in assuming that I just need to wait for new fix to arrive soon or do I have a unique problem.

DBPSW-071031X.zip is the latest bin. That's the 1 I have on my site.

 

Just noticed that codes have changed since yesterday when I changed them manually. I guess ....071031x fix I installed is working after all. But it didn't appear to be working right after I installed it yesterday ... was just getting 'autoroll processing' message and therefore entered codes manually to get channels up thinking that fix was no good. Relatively new to this. Strange ?

 

Loading the new bins doesn't mean atuomatically the channel will come up. You have to wait sometimes several minutes to allow the autoroll to do it's work and get and install the new keys.

I have had to wait one time about 13 minutes.

 

I have viewset extream and by mistake i change the top line on the code on Dish. Please some one can give the top line code.

I don't know it, but I think if you re-load the bin, it would probably fix it after factory reset.

I can assure you that the new Viewsat bins work great. The best way to get the auto roll to kick in is to go to one of the PPV channels and give it about 5 minutes the first time the bin is installed. I have had the PPV channels on the last 2 nights with no gliches in video.

hi guys, need help, i have two receivers that i cannot get to work, one is a coolsat 5000 and the other is a captiveworks 600s premium. i have downloaded the latest bin file on both starting with the factory one first, set one up for dish and the other for bel, put in the new numbers and on the captiveworks all i get is scrambled channel and the coolsat a black screen, i have two receivers in my house, the same ones working at this time that i have redone so i know iam not doing someting wrong, both units are brand new and were working, do you guys know of a factory reset i can do or a test to see if they are any good?

i have installed the factory bin and the coolsat is still not working, the captiveworks one is now working, the coolsat is just dead in the water, no matter what i do!!

Question.. as of 5am this morning while watchin a movie i got a "Scrambled Channel". I tried other channels but none is viewable all have "SC" on them. Am I the only one or did DN changed keys again?

lol... you are a Senior member and dont even know what's up man... lol.. it might had been my mistake posting on this thread (if it's only limited to Coolsat 5000) because i have the Coolsat 7000 and the newest bin for it is 120, for coolsat 5k i know it's 152.

Sorry - lol - Been helping out so much with 5000 and 6000, I've got 152 on the brain.

 

Thats the kind of problem I have been trying to keep from happening. Everyone just jumps in with off topic questions in the wrong thread. For example we assume the question is on the Coolsat 5000 in the Coolsat 5000 thread and then find out its on a completely different receiver. It just makes everything harder when the posters don't look at the thread titles, and of course we end up giving the wrong information or answer.
