I am new at this, I downloaded the new bin for pansat 2700A from FUTURE FTA.com but when I tried to download to my reciver it give me a mesaaege that BIN FILE IS NOT CORRECT, can anybody help, is the bin O.K. ? do I need to change anything in the file name, I did unzip the file? is that correct? any help. Thanks in advance.

 

Make sure you downloaded for the correct model.
Some models use different endings for files.
Like Coolsat uses .stb and .ird
Also make sure you have the correct loader.
Coolsat has a loader for .stb and a different for .ird files.
Pansat may be similiar.

 

Speaking of COOLSAT...Guess its faster with bin files for Viewsat huh,,is this ALWAYS the case with COOLSAT 6000 prem,,, I am looiking into a VIEWSAT with the DVR capabilities,,i was told that bin/files were much easier to obtain for VIEWSAT,,Whats your take between the two,,not trying to get plugg for either one ,,just maybe ,, a reality check

 

You never know Coolsat bins came out 2 days before Viewsat this time.

 

Are the bin files out for the coolsat 6000 premium,,or did i miss something

 

They have a 6000 bin on ftabins and fortecbins, but it is a 5000 bin that someone modded. NORW hasn't released one yet. You could try it if your daring, but they do advise that it may kill your receiver. I'll be waiting for 1 from NORW. At least it can be trusted.

These bins are use at your own risk if their not legit and modded from a garage camping programmer sitting his 450 pound naked ass in his lawn chair.

COOLSAT 6000 PREMIUM,,,,i just downloaded BIN 155 from site..MY FRIENDS ARE YOUR FRIENDS from threads above mine ,,,WORKS JUST FINE,,,i may be wrong but i think i may have got that site from BRECK some time back,,BRECK please dont bash me if im wrong about that site,,,in other words i think the site/download are both safe thank you guys in the above threads for the info,,,you guys are the bomb

I'm considering creating another site for just FTA stuff like all the others. But too much work to keep it all up to date by myself. Still considering it though. Maybe I'll do it in the new year.

 

I have a Question.

I have DN and BEV, can i also get Starchoice 111.1W and 107.3 W i think they are anik sats, with a cs5000? Also is it worth aiming at those sats?

From what I have heard, you can't get Star Choice at all. They use something that FTA can't pickup.
