Jerry - Since you mentioned that you were a coder once, what tools do we need to start doing own coding? I am thinking of contributing my coding skills to the community? More heads are always better. Dont you think?

 

No need for the RED.

When you turn the receiver off, the autoroll nolonger works. So if the keys change through the night, your autoroll can't do it's job.
Just turn the TV off and always leave the receiver on and it will be good to go all the time.

LOL have fun - You need to be experienced in hex coding.
You can download and install a .stb editor and open and see the files.
They look all messed up.
Unless they have other programs out there that are far easier.
But apparently when you go to load it in your receiver to test it, if it's not done correctly, you can fry your receiver.

I'm not sure what all they use these days to edit the bin files. I tried this over 5 years ago when the OTHER sat company was still un-secured. About the time I started to understand what I was doing, They changed the system and shut it down. Now I just load a bin file when needed. No more staring at a PC screen for hours.

Can somebody please help, this is driving me crazy.

I have updated the software with almost every software (clone, not clone)

I have put in all the recommended codes from oct 17 etc for every company, checked and stored.

Turned EMU ON etc and scanned it etc...

Every time I keep getting the same thing.. The box will pick up channels when finished scanning and you go to the channel it plays sound for 2 sec of a channel then keeps crashing and rebooting and crashing etc....

AHHH please help it is driving me INSANE!!!

Read the Forum, it explains about a master reset.. When I try and hold the ch up button during powering up it just flicks through the channels, until I stop.

Then when I stop I will get sound for the 2 sec followed by the crash and reboot process.

If a box is a clone does that mean it is useless??

 

No, not useless, just harder to find a proper bin file for it. The bin file has to be a modified one that has been fixed and made clone safe.

It's been down for 3-4 days now. The last 5-6 pages all refer to it.
Keys won't work.

Not sure what a coolsat it. It is a Starview box and according to one of the links in the forum it is an first edition box.

IS there any software you recommend I have 2 of the same kind??
