Do you have the Sonicview loader or the Viewsat Loader?? Loader2 sounds like Viewsat but I'm not familiar with Sonicview's loaders so I don't know. If I can get into one of my good sites I'll see what I can find out.

That file looks like an old one. Go to http://www.totalfta.com and download the file from there that says Viewsat Platinum on the front page in blue. You will need the right loader so I'll try to find you a link for that.

1- wher can i get the files.
2- how can i download it to the reciver...i do have the cabel that go from the pc to the reciver thanks again...

jerry i download the loader all fine..then i conect the pc to the viewsat..then i open the loader select the file pftausw-071203u.pgm...then i select tool..it say com1..then i download the file to the fta..

and now i see tv but the ppv say still auto roll..what i did wrong

 

What is the next step after downloading the bin and connecting my coolsat5000 to the computer?

 

If you have the Viewsat Platinum, you downloaded the wrong bin file. You have the Ultra file I think. Look at the date code in the file name, you see the (u) on the end. That should be a (P) in the Platinum file. Get the right file and try again.

You need the newest bin file and the Coolsat loader program. After you open the loader, you should see a place to select the file and then load it to the receiver. I don't own a Coolsat so I'm not sure of exactly how the steps should be listed.

I thought I had found a bin last night on dsstester.com but I couldn't get it to download. I've decided to wait until I see a posting on this site. Where can I find a coolsat bin loader? Do I need to download this?

BEV was hit again yesterday.
Bins for 6100, 7000, 7100 are out. For those who whine about Coolsat support, Coolsat is the first with a fix this time.
