i tried to upload new bin file for date 17 (the new one) on my viewsat but it's still down..not sure some thing wrong with my box or. everey body is down. help please...//

hi everyone
any news regarding release of new bin file for DN?it took a very longtime this time . looks very very serious . hope it will be solved soon

 

I don't feel its as serious as you think. The time frame is longer because the coders are going for a more stable-long term fix. They are getting tired of writing bins that last just a few days. Just hang in there and we may get something that works for a while. At least I hope it works that way.

That makes since,,im sure there is a lot of time consumption ,,in going through all the binary codes and and creating a usable format ,,that dummies like ME can understand,,,thanx for being there, JERRY and BRECK,,im sure its frustrating answering the same question all day,,the big three Ws,,,WHEN ///WHERE//WHY//...I still have problems sometimes, but, you guys always come through...,,just have to wait,,,,,,

ok jerry this message is for u, first of all "I DID SAY" that im new at this so reading BIN FILE or KEYS dont mean NOTHING NOTHING to me i DO NOT UNDERSTAND these words ,SO EXCUSE ME IF I DID NOT understand the one before. The reason i came on this site is because i read a couple of messages that people sent and saw that each and one of them got NICE response .If It bothered you so much then why did you evin answer me. And Second of all yes it took me 4 minutes to say "Tanx A bunch" because in my first message i forgot to write it and then They TELL YOU YOUR NOT ALLOWED POSTING ANOTHER MESSAGE ONLY AFTER 3 FREEKING MINUTES.....Did u get it? seriously i did not deserve that.

OUCH,,I cant speak for JERRY but i can tell you that these guys have a lot on their plate,,and what they do they do it ,,like they get paid to do it,,but they do it for free ,,so dont get the feeling like these guys are being asses ,,and sometimes it may sound like they come off a little irate,,just give these guys room to breath ,,because if you could only see some of the questions that come their way ,,you would most likely react out of the normal as well,,please remember most of everyone on this site are newbies ,,me being one ,, so imagine the stuff they walk people through on a daily basis,,it almost like internet babysitting,,,these guys deal with a lot of stuff ,,but they ALWAYS COME THROUGH,,,,As i said i cant speak for JERRY or BRECK,,But i can reassure you its going to be O.K.,,put your intellect over your emotions
,,and think it through,,i have myself blown up on this site and it only makes things worse,,its going to be cool

tanx for your comment i do understand what your saying ..it must be something doing what hes doing and being patient.....But what really got to me was his last sentence...listen it take 3 minutes to post a message after u just posted one...he dint have to give me that comment....i just wanted to be be grateful for anyone's response....big story for no reason...but I JUST had to say what i said ....The same has he did...

 

TO VIRGILIA,,,,see,,,,your half way there already,,,also while JERRY and BRECK are extreme crazy good,,, there are a few people on this site that really know there FTA stuff pretty good,,Just a thought,,so you can ask questions in general,,and get response from others,,who may or may not can help,,,

 

You will also find that everyone here has a little more knowledge about something then the next guy. Some people know more about pansats, where some know more about Viewsat, and some know more about Coolsat. They are all sort of similiar, but have many differences as well. That's the benefit of a forum. There should almost always be someone who can help out. Just don't expect it immediately. Most of us all have day jobs and can only reply in the evening. Unless your like some who are retired and have spare time during the day.

 

Virgilia, it was this post above, 4 minutes after your question that ticked me off. It looks to me as a smart remark because you didn't get an answer in 4 minutes. If that was NOT the case then I'm sorry for the misunderstanding, but it sure looked that way to me. I'll help you anyway I can and walk you through any proceedure necessary. You just need to watch what you type. Jokes don't always show up in type, if that was your intention.

I'm a newbie also and I can appreciate what all the hard working good people is doing , for all of us thanks to them for making it happen,there is one thing I will like to say that patience is a virtude and this is all we need to have, thanks an Merry Christmas to all

 

I read the above posts and wanted to add my two cents. Even if new bin comes in, seems highly likely given the recent history that they will mess it up again for Christmas and new year weekend. So we may want to take it easy, enjoy the holidays and keep hoping for the best

Anyone who knows how to upgrade Pansat 2500 clone to 2700 without J tagging?

 

Hey Breck/Jerry,

I have taken off my CS 6000 for the time being till the new bin comes out...instead i have attached the regular Dish network receiver DP311....i have also taken the switch off which was connected for all the satellie...instead i have conncted the Radioshack switch which can allow you to connect multiplle receiver...now when i do the check switch for the dish network receiver it does not recognize the odd transpoter numbers for satellites 61.5, 119, 110....can you guys please help me to configure this properly?

I have a file and instructions thats suppose to work on a 2500 clone to make it a 2700. A friend of mine said it worked on his Pansat 2500 original. If you know how to use the PM feature on this site, send me an e-mail address and I'll attach the RAR packet back to you. I can't say for sure if it will work or not. It all depends on which chipset your box has. Do not post the e-mail in the main forum.
