Didn't get around to adding them, but if you click on the last file, it will take you to the site and you can access all the files.

shuld i load the factory bin for viewsat platinum and then after to download to it the bin file from your tool bar?

will it help me to see tv? ppv?

i only try to fix soo we can see some thing on tv

You don't need to load the factory bin on Viewsats unless you start having problems. All you need right now is the bin file released around 12/26/2007. The older files are working again for most channels on DN. I don't have BEV so I am not sure if that works for BEV also.

Jerry, Breck or anyone who is kind enough to help, I am looking for new bin for pansat 2700 clone. My friends and I have pansat 2500 clone and I just currently upgraded them to 2700. All I need now is the bin to make these work. Thanks.

 

Clone safe bins are usually harder to find. Try maybe dsscentral.com.

I would stick to one of the main brands that have good support. Stay away from clone receivers because files are usually hard to find and delayed several weeks behind the other bin files. At this time I use a Viewsat and if I were looking for another receiver it would be another Viewsat. Viewsat file support has been excellent over the past 18 months. A few other good ones are Sonicview and Pansat. These are just my personal opinions.

Are you using a USB to serial port adapter on the laptop?? If yes---I have read several posts that those people using an adapter in some cases had to go to a high number com port to make it work. I don't know why but it may have to do with the type of adapter and driver involved. Just a guess.

Viewsat bins have clone killers in them so you need special bins.
Coolsat clones use the same bins as the real units, that is why the programmers are slow to release the bins. They are trying to piss off the clone users to get them to buy a new Coolsat unit. Their only problem is that they will piss people off and they will not by another Coolsat, but another brand.

 

Yea, Coolsats were at one time on the top end of the list. They even pulled a good trick with the card/slot fix during the 3 month outage. Even as a temp fix it showed what they could do if necessary. Its too bad how things are going for Coolsat owners right now. I hope it turns around at some point.
