Jerry as you can see im a very newbie, I don't have a clue about the
workings of keymaster but i really like the concept, Can you give me
a link & let me know how to install this so everytime N** change their codes in Dublin that I can access these, Your help would be much appreciated, Cheers lad in advance!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

If your in dublin, your in the wrong thread and keymaster is no good for you.
This thread is for North American satellite service.
You guys use cable boxes over there from what I read.

Hope this helps. Scouse is the helpful one with the European units.

 

is anyone else COOLSAT down,,i think BIN 172 is down

 

You are correct, all stbs except nFusion and cs dongle iks are down.

 

thanx,,,got a new NFUSION ordered,,, should be here MONDAY,,Still going to hang on to the COOLSAT 6000 as well for backup ,,its been a good unit,,and i think the support has stepped up somewhat,,still kooking forward to the new NFUSION NOVA

I was recently given a borzat 2700A FTA box & I was told to go to TVKeyz.com for updates on the new keys but I still can't get a signal. Is there anyone who could help me? or @ least point me in the right direction. I would really appreciate any help.

 

You don't want keys - you want a new bin.

Listen, I looked at what BIN means & I am still at a lost. I'm sorry for being such a pain but would anyone be able to walk me through this?

You have to load a file (bin) into the receiver with your computer.
There can be updates at various times. Could be 1 a week or 1 a month.
Could be 3 a week or 10-20 a month. Nobody ever knows. You have to reaad a lot of the forums and see what others are doing.

Generally when 1 receiver goes down, they all go down. Then everyone sits and waits until no updates come out. When an update for your receiver comes out, you have to download it and load it using the proper loader, and load it into your receiver.

There's a lot of work using an FTA receiver, and you will have to do some reading on the How to's for your recevier. Because yours is a clone of a Pansat 2700A, you will want to read up on that brand specifically. You can google it or look on many of the other forums for instructions.

You can join any forum that has bins.

Some of us run bindepot.ca - You can look there.
Like I said, you want the clone files, not the original files.
The original files will kill your receiver.

I read somewhere, that the tivo files are for clones.
Pantec might be where to look.

 

I have just downloaded a bin specifically for the borzat 2700A. Do I have to connect the box to the computer? Again I appologise for being such a bother & I thank you kindly for your time.

 

Yes you do - and your will need a loader to load the bin. It should be at the same place you got the bin. then you have to hook it up with a 9-pin cable to the computer.

I don't know exactly if it use a straight or null cable.
