Hello everyone and thank you in advance for any help you can give me. So i have a softmodded xbox that is running xbmc with mc360 skin. I have pcsxbox installed on it but i cant seem to get any game to work. I ftp the bin and cue files to the right place under the pcsxbox directory and as soon as i try to play it the screen goes black and thats it. I have tried using only the bin files and the same thing happend.I have the scph1001 bin file in the bios. can anyone please help
For a start you can try another game image format (like ISO). The game you have might not work with pcsxbox or it might be a bad copy. Also try it on epsxe, see if the computer emulator for ps1 will read it. If it does, then you know the imagine is valid, but possibly not compatible with pcsxbox. If indeed you are trying multiple games as you said, then maybe you should try imagines from different sources/made with different programs.
