need serious help with a segam dbox

    You dont need to know any ips at all to flash with ifa
    Just cross over cable like i said run ifa
    And switch on and off at the wall thats it
    Never had a problem


    If you want to ftp you need the ips
    Programs here if you want it..........Paul

    box off at the wall, cable connected to both box and pc and i run dbox2 image flash. 1 commando 6 x1 2, selected the port 3, nullmodecable no........ press start then ok and pug the box in at5 the wall... the box just loads up as normal

    Well you are doing it right
    Try it on another laptop or pc
    Wot version of ifa are you useing
    Ile post you the other one
    Ive sat there for an hour at least doing the on and off thing but it went in the end ...........Paul

    ifa (156 file) if thats any help. once u start the flash do u restart it everytime u unplug the box or just leave it running

    Just leave the pc alone once you pushed ok
    And keep switching on and off at the wall with your toe
    Whilst watching tely..................Paul Ile c if i can dig out the other ifa

    Ive got up to neutrino conf on the big blue list. Next to neutrino.conf it says 6.621 ( ithink)
    Do i just press ok when on it?
    I dont get what to do after that though. I didnt get what u meant by 'scrolling down to the line'
    Thanks

    BTW Im not sure whether i have a sagem dbox 1 or 2. I think its 1 as it doesnt say 2 anywhere on it. Will this make a difference?

    Its in alphabetical order mate scoll to
    Parental lock
    parental lock pincode this is the one you want make a note
    Then Home save settings .....Yes

    just kept at it, the box has been reset

    Have you rescaned

    no channels yet, did a scan on 6887 but got nowhere. just half way through doing another scan with bruteforce uk

    Ok from the start
    Push blue button on your remote
    Set my location
    Then blue again
    Then try green first Manchester 1
    If that dont work try Yellow
    Box will go off and come back on again
    Goto scan settings and makr sure sym rates are set to 6887
    Fast scan on
    Lets know Nearly there ...........Paul

    no joy bud, changed my location 2 manchester1 and 2. scanned on 6887

    How does your scan settings read from top to bottom
    Wot does it say when transponder scan is finished......paul
