My Samsung 56" hdtv kept going blank and the three warning lights on the front panel were flashing. According to the manual this indicates a faulty lamp. The set is 2 months old. It is now, all of a sudden, working well. I have a service guy coming out, is it safe to watch until then? Should I cancel the appointment? Thanks for the info

I would keep using it. First if it's broken, then the repair guy will fix it or replace if only 2 months old. Second if it's going to go out again, then maybe it will before the repair guy comes over. If it's working fine, then he'll say it's ok and leave and then it'll go out when you start using it again.
