Well, I'm trying to remove an Autoplay action for video and audio. The action was previously RealPlayer (which I made the mistake of installing), and now I more than surely removed just about all traces of it (I hope). I tried removing every instance of Real Player info that was in the Registry with RegSeeker.

I just need some help as to what I would need to do to remove it from the Autoplay menu. It really shouldn't bother me, but it does. Here is a pic:

and a pic of the Program I'm using:

Help would be appreciated, thank you!

I tried CCleaner before, but it's not an issue of cleaning up system files, it's more about editing Windows registry keys in order to remove it. The only thing I was able to do was remove the name and what it was that used to autoplay, but not able to remove the item in question. I guess it doesn't matter, since now I can't even access Autoplay when I put in a disc, which could be a good thing. I can still read game CD w/ Autoplay though. :)

Thanks for the help, but I'm just going to count my losses and leave it be.

funny, it worked for me when i uninstalled DVD Decrypter...
if you were more experienced you could maybe search for the key in the registry and manualy remove it...
maybe you are good friends with someone who knows their way around...

Well, I did know 2 TSS teachers and the Server Administrator at my old school, so maybe I'll drop them an e-mail, or I'll just format. Anyway, thanks for the responses, I'll try looking up a way to remove it.

I couldn't find a way to remove it completely, so I just formatted and re-installed Windows. Thanks for helping me out.
