there are no complications playing on wifi, it thinks its a standard game card the only problems you will have are when you are hosting a DS Download Play game
dude.. will you chill with the posts? he didn't ask for clarification on it, and though its nice to clarify it you've been flooding the forum with a ton of posts either repeating stuff people had already said or just posting something that wasn't asked for
He's obviously trying to get his post count up, though I wouldn't know why, he alreday is at Member status.
i didnt repeat stuff people already said. and why cant i post things people didnt ask for. i was just saying my comments about things people talked about. that was another reason for all of the posting. i want to be at Senior Member status.
I wasn't talking about specifically this thread, there are countless other threads you've responded to where someone said something and you just rephrased it or repeated it...
i know. i just want to be a Senior Member. i know you werent talking about this thread. i know you were talking about other threads. well maybe what someone said was what i was thinking too, so i post it.
Maybe what someone said was what i was thinking too, so i post it. I just happened to be thinking that exact sentence too, i think i'll post it.
but what they said had to do with the topic in question. (im not trying to get anybody angry at me. i just want to be able to post without getting people mad at me.)
Hey guys. I'm pretty new to the NDS lite, but love it so far. Wanted to find out how I make my own RAW (.nds) dumps of my NDS games. I have the NDS lite, G6 4G lite, and passcard 3. I have tried a program called 'dumper.nds', but the image didn't work when I put it on my G6 with the G6 mgr. Thanks!
from what i've heard, dumper.nds only works with M3, not G6. i don't believe there is a way to do it with the G6 at this time
Does the NDS roms that has the J, E work on the M3 also? OR can you just play the ones with the U at the end of the rom. Since this the US. Thank you in advance.
Just as with the DS, the M3 can play games from any region, so Yes, it can play European 'E' and Japanese 'J' games.
pakixd, Aren;t the G6 and M3 just differnt forms of storage solutions for the GBA slot? Is it the difference is the software that drives the cartridge? I couldn't imagine there is much hardware difference in the two (other than the G6 has its own NAND, and the M3 uses flash carts). Thanks!
the hardware is relatively similar - its the software thats completely different. you can tell that they aren't the same whenever you patch the game and load it onto each device - M3 uses a .dat for saves, where as G6 uses .1, .2 for saves (i think, it may be slightly diff i'm not sure but its something along those lines) not only that but because the softwares are different, NDS files have to be patched differently in order to work with each device. dumper.nds was made specificially for M3 which is why it doesn't work with the G6 - its already patched for M3 (from my knowledge) if you can find a clean version of it, or one patched for G6, try that one
Thanks pakixd, I wasan't sure if it had to d owith the G6 or the Passcard 3. Most sites say to use Passme (which I think is a hardware DS cart passthrough). Is there any other way to make my own rom dumps without buying a whole new M3 solution? Also, the specific game I wanted to try (Star Trek: Tactical Assault) I tried to download (USA ver By Legacy), but when I put it on my G6 it just has a blank black screen, and the game never starts up. I downloaded it from 3 different places to make sure it wasn't a bad download, but none of them worked. Thanks again everyone!
I need help in saving my games on the M3......is there a folder I need to put on the SD? appreciate your help
