If anyone thinks there is a better forum for my question, please tell me...
Anyway, I am trying to convert my svcd's into dvd-r..using DVD lab..and I get all the way to writing the disk, and it says it is writing it, but is agonizingly slow! I mean hours and hours! I haven't the patience to wait an entire day to burn a half hour movie. I am sure something is wrong, but I haven't a clue. I am using a mad dog megastore 7-1, external, I have a 2.2 gig , 512 ..and comp usa dvd-r's. I do only have usb 1.0 instead of 2.0...which is really recommended..but would that make it that nuch slower? I also tried to write it with Nero, and it said it was successfully written, but the computer says it's a blank disc! And it only recognizes the disks as being cd-r's, not dvd-r's. Arghhhh..please help me, guys.
