need some help

    Ok so anyways I was at my friends house and his computer suddenly started freezing up so i opened up task manager and checked processes but it was blank and i cant fiqure out how to fix it can anyone help
    (BTW his computer was [well probably is again] spyware infested but if you can help it would be really nice)

    1. Download Spybot S&D and Ad-aware.

    2. Scan and delete in normal mode.

    3. Scan and delete in safe mode.

    4. Scan for viruses using anti-virus scanner in normal mode.

    5. Scan for viruses in safe mode.

    6. Do an online virus scan to see if you're clean.

    theres many spywarte programs you might try highjack this,spysweeper,and microsoft has a good one out too called mircosoft antispyware beta 1 ...these are all free

    Oh yes, I forgot to mention Hijack This! It's not very newbie-friendly so that was why I didn't think to recommend it. When you run Hijack This!, do not delete whatever it detects, but rather:

    Post your results onto a forum where clever people will help you. =D

    I like CWShredder, Its a small program made for finding Cool Web Search which is like one of the hardest bits of spyware to get rid of due to the fact that alot of anti-spyware tools cant find or remove it. So if you ever get spyware called CWS google for this fantastic tool.
