I have collection of DVD movies and need to copy them as I want to gift them to a friend of mine. I have my friends using softwares of this kind but they usually land up with some problem and spoil up the work. Can anyone suggest me a good on that I can use? Thanks in advance!!!
You can't technically make copies of them and give them to your friends (priacy), however if you want to back up a copy of the movie to protect your investment there are several options out there for you. Do you prefer freeware applications? If so you can try DVDShrink and Imgburn guides to each of the programs are in the tab "guides". You may run into some problems with newer movies not wanting to back up with the freeware programs so if you decide to purchase a program Slysoft AnyDVD is updated regularly regarding copy-right protection I have found Xilisoft to be a good program to use for converting avi files to an iso to burn to a disk but im sure thet there updates are provided to get around the new copy protection. Many users prefer AnyDVD. If a newer movie comes out that gives you problems backing up AnyDVD usually has the answer for getting around it. More reviews and suggestions for software/freeware to use will follow from other members. Do some research in regards to the software you can also check the downloads tab scroll down and click DVD Ripper and there are lists of other programs out there.
