I hope someone can tell me how would a friend of mine be able to send me (Home PC- WindowsXP) a 750mb file. I do not have a server, I have webspace from school but it will not accept a file that big. Is there any way to send this??? Thanks for any ideas
Get ICQ ... both of you !! ... then tell him to put the file in his shared folder and turn SHARING of files ""ON"" -- You will be able to download from him directly as fast as his connection permits ! WWW.Yousendit.com can handle up to 1gb at a time. Also for larger files you can use http://www.freebyte.com/hjsplit/#win32 in conjunction to send something like a dvd.
