Come on out to the States and I'll treat ya to a day at the range. Especially the police range where I go. You'll see some hardware there that'll make your eyes pop out .... probably the only thing no one's brought in is a howitzer. Give it time, though.
@Lethal_B Maybe that you haven't ever seen a gun is a good thing. As the crime against citizens here has skyrocketed since the great influx of Katrina immigrants, I am entertaining the idea of carrying my pistol now.
Here's a piccy of my new gun, a Walther G22; I have the Walther scope as in this one & the laser! No piccy of the moderator I have fitted too.
That is an absolutely gorgeous little Walther pulsar and congrats on getting your license Here's something for you all to enjoy, it's some fat scmuck shooting a Thompson Center pistol converted to 600 Nitro Express, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9lzri8dn7p0
Cheers Neph . Took a while to get it, but was worth the wait. I had it converted to left hand, just need to get her zeroed in now. Surprisingly heavy, not such a bad thing. Can't wait to give her a go. Needless to say, chuffed to b*ll*cks! Seen that vid clip before, always makes me smile when I see it though.
Finally go to shoot my gun today. Just a zeroing exercise, but I managed to fire 75 rounds. Also got the laser for it. Quite happy with it so far.......
Granny in wheelchair + machine gun = FUN, FUN, FUN! http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=8478238285671811588
FYI, the History Channel has "Time Machine-Sharpshooters" playing now. There will be an expose on the M-16 playing at 6 pm EST. The Sharpshooters show is a repeat of what was posted previously, guys shooting through card decks and such. Dang, wish I was that good...
Sweet, thanks I just got my reloading bench up and running after five looooong years in storage. I'll post some pics soon!
this story is gun related so i thought i post it. very funny and its true.... ONE OF THE BEST COMEBACK LINES EVER! Marine Corps General Reinwald was interviewed on the radio the other day and you'll love his reply to the lady who interviewed him concerning guns and children. Regardless of how you feel about gun laws you gotta love this!!!! This is one of the best comeback lines of all time. It is a portion of National Public Radio (NPR) interview between a female broadcaster and US Marine Corps General Reinwald who was about to sponsor a Boy Scout Troop visiting his military installation. FEMALE INTERVIEWER: So, General Reinwald, what things are you going to teach these young boys when they visit your base? GENERAL REINWALD: We're going to teach them climbing, canoeing, archery, and shooting. FEMALE INTERVIEWER: Shooting! That's a bit irresponsible, isn't it? GENERAL REINWALD: I don't see why, they'll be properly supervised on the rifle range. FEMALE INTERVIEWER: Don't you admit that this is a terribly dangerous activity to be teaching children? GENERAL REINWALD: I don't see how. We will be teaching them proper rifle discipline before they even touch a firearm. FEMALE INTERVIEWER: But you're equipping them to become violent killers. GENERAL REINWALD: Well, Ma'am, you're equipped to be a prostitute, but you're not one, are you? The radio went silent and the interview ended. You gotta love the Marines!
