Rats and dogs aren't a regional delicacy. Luckily nutria aren't much of a problem here. If the wife saw a 15 pound rat in the house, she'd freak. I know they're not rats, but if it looks like a rat and walks like a rat, to the wife it's a rat. If one of those got in the house, I could buy any kind of gun I want. LOL The wife would start carrying my 12 guage semi-auto from room to room.

Still love the story of the guy I went to high school with, bought a new scope for his 30-06, fitted the scope on, tried working the bolt, moved it around a little, tried putting a round in to see how it chambered and ejected, did this a couple of times, then was happy how it worked, looked thru the scope, played around with the focus and the parallax adjustment, forgot about the live round in the chamber and pulled the trigger, scored a direct hit on a can of red enamel paint. Range like 15 feet, total paint spray everywhere. His mom thought he had shot himself.
Sounds like the day a hose popped in the shop and I was running red dye through an AC system. The stuff was blood red. I squalled like a banshee because I was xxx (upset to say the least). The boss thought I'd killed myself and was ready to do the job once he found I hadn't. Funny, he loaned me a 30-06 with a scope to go on my first big deer hunt. No deer, but great fun. LOL

LMAO!!! I thought of you guys last week. In celebration of Philly's 300th murder, there was an anti gun rally in from of my building. (I should keep a little cheapie digital camera on hand). They sheduled in to be in front of a rather large gun shop but had to stay fifty feet from the front door. A smart business man who owns this gun shop. You need to go to my building to get licenses so this guy set up a huge gun shop across the street selling guns and police equipment. The cops have two floors of my building. A couple of years ago, we had this mentally ill nutcase waving around a gun and screaming in our front lobby. My boss ran upstairs to get the cops and they told him to call 911!!! LMAO!
