hey everyone this is my first time at afterdawn forum so hope u guys welcome me n co-operate i tried burning a 700MB movie file, avi/mpeg(VCD format)on a 800MB cdr disc using nero6 but i couldnt do it there is msge comes up say i have insuffiecient space (after encoded)on my disc please insert a disc with a bigger capacity, it was really frustraing. does anyone know why it is? and how can i burn a vcd using nero6?
for some reason when you burn a 700mb avi/mpeg file and make it to a movie to play in a dvd player it expands to 2gigs or so, so thats why it's giving you that message. Theres a way to out 700mb avi file to 2 cd's but I can't think of right now (not at home to figure this out right now) hopefully I answered your question and hopefully someone will help you before I get home to help you
maybe you could try getting avi & mpg splitter, that's a program that I use to get movies on two disks
