Hi I'm new at this so I hope I'm not asking the same question that everyone else has. If so I apologize. My question is, I have nero 6 and when I try to copy a dvd it shows that it is protected. I have heard that you can copy with this software, but I am having no luck. I am not familiar with computers so this is all confusing to me. Can anyone help. Thank you.
Most commercial DVDs have a copy protection to prevent this, however if you have a program such as AnyDVD it will break the protection and allow you to copy the disc. AnyDVD is NOT free however you can obtain a trial version for 21 days from here http://www.slysoft.com/en/anydvd.html?aid=50022 You can use it with Nero Recode. RipIt4Me has not been updated for some time. I think a better choice for free decrypting/ripping software would be DVDFab HD Decrypter.
