Hello, using a SATA Lite On LH-20A1S DVD+/-RW with 8x DVD write speed on a Windows Server 2003 R2 x64 SP1. I get an illegal disc error all the time a little but into the burn. I've coastered four discs, two while burning at 4x, so I dont think its the media, which I admit is a crappy brand I got from Frys for cheap, but even bad media have at least 50% burnable discs. Here is the log, any help is appreciated, and thanks in advance.

One thing I'm worried about is when Nero identifies my SATA drive as IDE (This is towards the top @ "Adapter driver: <IDE> HA 1 "). Also, it lists no Existing drivers.

    Thanks.

No such option is available for SATA drives, which is what my DVDRAM drive is at.

I have the latest firmware, which is 9L08...

    although...

The Lite On Global site says this is the latest firmware, http://www.liteonit.com/DOWNLOADS/ODD/LH-20A1S/firmware/RW209L08.zip

But the Lite On US Site says the 9L02 is the latest firmware, http://www.liteonamericas.com/twnmain/DOWNLOADS/ODD/LH-20A1S/firmware/DR209L02.zip

And in a email I exchanged about a month ago with Lite On support, they said the latest firmware was 9L05, at http://www.liteonit.com/global/inde...amp;task=blogcategory&id=26&Itemid=67

    But that URL is dead...

    ??wtf??
