    @binkie7,
The reason for my post is that I am curious as to why he/she would make that statement...Garmoon,onya and myself are active at the moment...as well as yourself...if someone needs assistance then as you know all they have to do IS ASK

True & I'm sure there are many others online that can help too.
But I also see no reason to 'call' someone on a post. It's text and can easily be misundertand.
MY post and ours would have probably been better suited as a pm instead of a public post.

The cpu interprets and carries out instructions for the pc - may hold info temporarily.

The files your talking about are on the hard drive. Deleting them doesn't totally remove them from the hard drive. If someone wants it bad enuf ways to get it.

Here's some links to look at to wipe the hard drive if your selling it w/ it.

    killdisc

Can you put it back in the laptop to wipe it?
Or are you keeping the hard drive?

Guess you could just hook it up to the pc w/ an ide cable. I've never really messed w/ laptop drives. Smaller in size but if it fits to the ide connector should do it.

Hmm doesn't look like you can put it in a pc - uses a 44 pin cable.
    Pc's use 40 or 80.
Never taken mine apart - was but the screws are so friggin small I'd probably strip them :)

May be more trouble and or cost then it's worth but you can check and see if they sell external enclosures for slim line drives. May do it.
If you can find that then hook it up to the enclosure and they usually connect by usb.

Vista is dirty word in my book. Anything having a problem w/ Vista does not surprise me. I've heard the horror stories from my friends :)

Anyhoo you're best bet is post this question in the game section it fits in and see if someone can help.

    Good Luck!

    Hi,
Has any one tried Nero Version:7 and DVD-shrink? I used to get problem ("Cannot connect TRF") with Version 6.6, which I have now fixed by going back to old packages. I am thinking of upgrading to version:7 Am I going to hit the same problem again?

    Nero 7 works w/ Shrink.

The only version of Nero that gives you that error w/ Shrink is 6.6.1.14.

There's also a new update to Nero 6 - just package 1 -6.6.1.15. This one works w/ Shrink too.
