Nero 7 burning to DVD-R

When I burn my movies to disc using recode it always prompts me to use either a DVD+R or DVD+RW is there any way I can use DVD-R discs, I am using rip it 4 me (not sure if this would make a difference at all) Thanks

 

This would, I suspect, depend on your burner...can you supply details of it thanks.
