Problem Nero 7 From XP to Windows 7

I just switched from XP to W7. Now I can't re-install my Nero 7 Ultra Edition on the same desktop. Error is: "Custom Action DLL crashed on last call in function. "NeroAg_RegisterComEx". The installer must now exit. Crash Thread ID 2132 Current Thread ID 1328". Help?

 

what are you using for the install media?the only problem i had was them telling me i was using on more than one computer as i had gone thru two pcs by that time.had to get in touch with support to solve that one.using it now on windows 10.

 

Using a CD I paid for a few years ago. Same computer but Windows 7 now instead XP.

 

download and run the nero removal tool.try installing again.if that doesnt work you may have to try and contact nero for help.there are also the nero forumns.

nero 7 does work on win 7..See if you download the exact digital copy of whats on the disc

 

How? Contact Nero directly I'm guessing?

 

i used it on 7 with no trouble,as well as win10.come to think of it tho i did go to the nero site and download a copy as my disk diskappeared.

You'll need the exact copy as what is on your cd or the serial won't work
