When I import a home made DVD to Nero Movie maker the preview only last for 16 seconds when I press play although the full 3hours is on the disc. I can reposition the slide pointer on the slide bar at any point to access any part of the file but when I press play the scene from that point only last for the 16 seconds. This makes editing impossible. Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?
I forgot to add to the above that the whole movie file is reported as 1 minute 36 seconds long in the preview time counter.
Thanks for nothing everyone! I solved my problem by recoding the VOB files to Nero Digital which now imports correctly to the preview window to create a movie. Nero also now allows me to automatically create chapters and I can now edit each individual movie clip. Feeling quite chuffed with myself!
