Hi all, I am a relative newbie to computers and really need some help. I have been through the other posts and cannot see help. I downloaded a dvd rip and there are files ext,mpegav,segment and vcd. My query - how do I burn this to play on my dvd player? It is probably very simple and am really sorry if this auestion annoys people and makes me look stupid- but I habe never done this before and have no idea where to start. Any help would be great. It sounds like you have folders, ripped from a VCD. I don't know of a way to take those folders and simply burn them to get a VCD again - but if the AVSEQ01.DAT file is present inside the MPEGAV folder, it can be burned with Nero. Rename AVSEQ01.DAT as AVSEQ01.DAT.mpg and run StartSmart. Elect to 'Make Video CD', add the AVSEQ01.DAT.mpg file and proceed to burn. Put a CD in the burner and select a moderate speed.
